Well we are now in the process of getting Trystyn AFO's for the Stander that she will be getting. United Seating and Mobility is supposed to come out sometime next week with 2 different standers so I can see which one I like the best. We don't have an appointment to get her AFO's until mid October, but apparently we will leave with them so that is good. Her Kid Kart is working out wonderfully. We went to the library after work the other day and it was the first time that we used it. After I finally figured out how to stop folding her up into it, we were on our way. The locking pin is a little tricky to say the least and it must be totally in or else the base will still fold up.
I have added some new pages to the site. Yes, they are still under construction because I have a lot of research to do before they can become fully functional. It seems that I am constantly finding things that I want to put on here and not enough time to actually bring it to fruition.
We are on our way to Six Flags today and the kids are going to my parents house. The newscaster of course said a 30% chance of rain and it is already sprinkling at my house. But, whatever this is a work function for Mark and we should have. It's the first time in months that we have done something just the two of us. I'm sure that everyone can relate to that. I really hope it doesn't rain all day though.
Okay sorry this is so short, but Trystyn is getting antsy in her seat. I think it may be nap time again.
I read the poem posted on your webpage. I am so touched by the words you have written. I thought no one truly understood what I am going through with a special needs child. But after reading your poem I realize that I am not alone. Even my husband seems to misunderstand what I am going through. I am so weary and I had almost given up. But just last week some new doors opened for us and I was uplifted. Now after reading your poem I will always remember that I am not alone. I pray that you will continue to keep your head up and continue to write poems that will inspire other mothers to keep on keeping on.
God Bless You,
Nichole
