Okay we went to our follow up Neuro appointment after the doc came back from maternity leave and Trystyn had her 24 Hour EEG. She (doc) was really encouraged by what Trystyn is doing. She is now bringing her hands to midline and clasping them together a lot. She decided that she doesn't have a movement disorder. She feels that all of Trystyn's movement is just her excitement and just her being her. So that was actually really good to hear. We are however going to try her on Melatonin for her sleeping. This is something that your brain naturally produces to regulate your sleep cycle. The doc stated that with a lot of kiddos that have severe brain injuries their brain just doesn't produce the amount that is needed. Right now she will start on 1 mg a night. We shall see how that goes.
Trystyn got measured and she is 2' 10" tall. Good Lord - seriously she won't even be 2 until May 31 of this year. Otherwise, everything is going great health wise. This has to be short because internet is down again at my house and I'm at the Library. Will post again soon.
The very first post that explained what happened to Trystyn is in the archives, titled "The Beginning". You can go to the archive section and click on more and then I'm pretty sure I started in June - but don't hold me to that.

I was trying to find out what was going on with your baby by your previous posts, but was not successful. Without knowing too much, I sense that you do sound brave and I pray for your baby.
