I can't believe my baby girl is 2 years old as of 8:09 am this morning. She is so big. She is almost as tall as her 4 year old brother, well honestly he is not that tall. Anyway, we had a party for her and she did really good. I never know what to tell my family to buy for her. All of the special toys that I would her to have are so expensive that I just don't feel right asking for that stuff. Somebody had suggested to me that it would be a good idea to just ask people to give the money that they were going to spend on a gift and then you can save up to buy the special needs items. Which is also a great idea, but still how do you tell people that?
Rain and the other cousins were all running around and playing and getting into their squabbles as usual. It was really hot outside, which I was glad it wasn't raining but a breeze would have been great. All and all it was a great day.
Hi Carrie,
Just checking in on your blog. It sounds like things are looking up these days. Here's a suggestion, how about adding a wish list of toys and other items to your blog. It would be nice to also see if any of the other family's in similar situations would be interesting in swapping or selling their toys their kids have outgrown. Just a thought. Take care.
